SHAMROCK July 6 (Spl) — Benjamin Franklin Holmes 63 Shamrock resident for 45 years died at his home here Friday after an illness of two years.
Holmes came to Shamrock in 1906 from Carthage He was a partner in the Shamrock Gas Company until his retirement two years ago.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Lyle and William of Shamrock and Dr. Roy W Holmes of the U S Naval Hospital, Philadelphia; a daughter, Mrs Minnie Katherine Savage of Port Arthur; two brothers, Arthur and A N Holmes of Shamrock, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p m Sunday at the home Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery.
