BETHELRIDGE — Joseph Edwin "Mike" Gdbey, 73, a farmer in the Bethelridge Community, died Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lekington.
The Casey County native was born Jan. 14, 1906. to the late Isaac and Ella Ervin Godbey.
His wife, Desta Vaught Godbey, survives along with three daughters including Mildred Durham of Yosemite and Lafon Brown of Bethelridge; four sons, three brothers and five sisters.
Services were held Friday at Bethelridge United Methodist Church. Burial was in Bethelridge Cemetery.
Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
