CHOWCHILA — Funeral services wen held today in Worden Funeral Chapel here for Lila M Kemper, 67, who died Thursday in a San Francisco hospital.’

The Rev Jerry Gollihar of Alamo Assembly of God Church in Chowchilla conducted servrices and burial was in Chowchilla District Cemetery.

Mr Kemper was born Feb 20 1916 in Erick, Okla., and lived in ChowchiHa since 1949. She was a homemaker and worked in the cotton fields in the Chowchilla area.

Survivors include four sons, Eldon Kemper of Chowchilla, John Kemper of Watsonville, George Kemper of Bakersfield and Robert Kemper of Texas; two daughters, Ruby Russum of Watsonville and Audrey Simpson of Oklahoma; five sisters, Juanita Vines, Gertrude Orr and Ellen Phillip,s all of Texas, Naomi Kemper of Oregon and Rebecca Hamilton Of Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
