Boswell Rites To Be Thursday1422
MEDINA. Tenn. Funeral services for James Earice Bos well, 71, will be held at 10 a. m, Thursday at the Medina Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Michael Champlin and by a former pastor, the Rev. Barney Flowers of Trenton, and the Rev. Wilson Jones of the Medina Methodist Church. Interment will be in Trinity Cemetery near Brownsville with Replogle Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Boswell, a resident of Medina and a World War I vet eran died Monday at 8 p. m. in Kennedy Veteran's Hospital in Memphis.
He leaves his widow, the former Miss Myrtle Hood; two sons, Daymon Boswell, who is a patient in a Veterans Hospital in Thornton, Colo., and the Rev. James A. Boswell, Minister of Education at Rutledge Avenue Baptist Church in Charleston. S. C. ; one sister, Mrs. Vera Rhodes of Tampa, Fla., eight grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Roy Graves, J. H. Johnson, Ralph Barnwell, Clifford King, Jim Spencer and Carmen Gilbert.
The body will be at the funeral home until time for services.
