I was born in 1953 in Aberdeen but moved to Carstairs age 4. I have had a very interesting life, full of travel and change. I fully embraced the 70s and wanted to be in San Francisco with flowers in my hair and strangely have still never been in America although at last count I have been in over 30 countries on my travels.
 
I married and had my children young. Sita in 73 and Karina in 74 and although I have not lived with their father for a long time we remain friends and I had lunch with him and his wife last year when they visited Edinburgh.
 
Both my daughters are married, Sita to Jeremy Simons in Sydney Australia, they have one daughter Grace age 5 and Karina to Adit Vansoh in Bangkok and they have 2 children Zak age 7 and Layla age 6.
 
Sita is a journalist and Karina is assistant head of a large English Curriculum International School in Bangkok, they both enjoy their work and have very satisfying lives.
 
I lived in Bangkok for 5 years and came back to Edinburgh 2 years ago.

I design and sell a range of silver jewellery and so far so good. (My degree is in photography but I was always hanging out in the jewellery department). I sell wholesale to shops and do retail fairs as well as web sales. I have always been self employed and enjoy the freedom of being responsible for my own life. I have had shops selling cashmere clothing, a chain of hair salons, worked as a fine art photographer and now silver jewellery. They have all done well in their time and allowed me to live a comfortable life.3311
