JOSEPH R. HARTHCOCK3347 LEXINGTON - Services for Joseph Raiford Harthcock, land owner and planter were held Saturday at Harland Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Self officiated.
Burial was In the church cemetery with Southern Funeral Home of Lexington in charge.
Harthcock, who was 84, died Friday afternoon at his home after a short Illness.
Harthcock, was a native of Holme County and had lived there all his life. He was a Baptist.
He leaves three sons, Joe Harthcock of Jackson, Ernest Harthcock of Baton Rouge and W. O. Harthcock of Eden; three daughters, Mrs. H. J. Abernathy and Mrs. W. E. Heam of Lexington, and Mrs. Nannie Chlsolm of Calif.; two half brothers, Frank Killebrew of Kosciusko and Ben Killebrew of Lexington; two half sisters, Mrs. Mattle Burwell and Mrs. Allie Rich of Benton, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
