Roy Jones 61 Dies After Heart Attack3749

Funeral Services Are Held Here Monday Afternoon

Roy Jones 61 Yukon died last Friday morning in St Anthony hospital in Oklahoma City following a heart attack

A builder and contractor in Oklahoma City for 30 years, Jones was a native of Paint Rock, Tenn. He moved to Oklahoma City in 1901 from Wynnewood where he built the town's first house. He moved to Yukon about eight years ago.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm Monday at the First Christian church here. Rev Garner D Noland, pastor, conducted the rites. Burial was in Yukon cemetery.

Survivors include is wife Mrs Dell Jones, three daughters, Mrs C M Thompson of Oklahoma City, Mrs George Dearman of Casper, Wyo., and Bonnie Jones of the home; seven sons, J. C .and Roy Jones of Oklahoma City and Harold, Bobby, Jerry, Roy Allen and Jackie, all of the home.

Also a stepson, Vernon Baker of Reydon Okla., a stepdaughter, Mrs I. H. Cosgrove of Oklahoma City, two brothers, W A Jones of Ada and Jim Jones of Wynnewood; two sisters and six grandchildren.
