Lee Hoffman4208Lee Jay Hoffman, 85, of Gaston, Ore. and Desert Hot Springs died Jan. 22, 2005, in Palm Springs.
He was born July 3, 1919, to Walter Clarke Hoffman and Pearl Ellen Kopplin Hoffman in Laurelwood, Ore.
He married Myra Belle Bacchus on Sept. 5, 1940, in McMinnville, Ore.
He was the owner and operator of a water tank manufacturing company in Gaston for 40 years.
He was a member of Laurelwood Seventh-day Adventist Church in Gaston and served on the Washington County planning board in Oregon for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Hoffman of Gaston; three daughters, Linda Mackett of Oregon City, Ore., Wanda Thompson of Walla Walla, Wash, and Julee Thomas of Colfax; his son, Ken Hoffman of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
Services were held at Desert Crest Country Club in Desert Hot Springs.
Burial will be at Montecito Memorial Park in Loma Linda with arrangements under the direction of Rose Mortuary of Desert Hot Springs.
The family suggests that donations be made to the Voice of Prophecy Radio Broadcast in Los Angeles.
