Frances "Fannie" MEREDITH b. 7 Jan 1767, Goochland Co., VA, m. ca 1780, William Dudley BOND, b. ca 1755, d. ca 8 Jul 1815, Newberry Dist., SC. Frances died aft 1820, Newberry Dist., SC. The first child of Fannie and William Bond was b 23 Oct 1782. This would indicate a marriage by first of 1782; however, Fannie would only be 15 years old?? On the 1800 U.S. Census for Newberry Dist., SC, Dudley & Frances had 4 dtrs and 5 sons (or at least had this many persons under the age of 26 living in their household.) William Dudley was in Rev. War. in SC. The children of Dudley and Frances are listed in Newberry County, South Carolina Historical and Genealogical," by George Leland Summer, Sr., 1950.

Dudley Bonds died in Newberry County in 1815, leaving widow Frances, and children: Jean, Nancy, William, Meredith, Thomas, Dudley, Martha, Elizabeth. Dudley Jr. moved to Jackson, Georgia.687
